Under the leadership of Government of India, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has launched an online registration service for patients seeking hospital services across India. This Online Registration System (ORS) links various hospitals across the country for Aadhar number based and mobile number based Online Appointment and Registration, where OPD registration and appointment system through Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) has been digitized. Even if an individual does not have an Aadhar number, registration can be done with the mobile number.

Those who have taken online appointment through ORS will report directly on the registration counter with the message they have received from ORS. The rest of the process of registration will be the same. One can read about the detailed process of registration from the link on OPD & Emergency Services. The patient can also directly visit the institute for registration.

Steps To Book an Online Teleconsultation

Step 1 :
Visit the Site    www.ors.gov.in

Step 2 :
Click on Book Teleconsultation Appointment

Step 3 :
Select the State Jharkhand

Step 4 :
Click on Central Institute of Psychiatry CIP

Step 5 :
Then two options will be displayed on the Screen as “Teleconsultation for Follow up patient and View Appointment Status”
Click on Teleconsultation for Follow up Patient
Step 6 :
Click on Proceed button after reading the instructions carefully

Step 7 :
Enter UHID NO and the caption given below in the box
Step 8 :
You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number

Step 9 :
Enter the OTP and follow subsequent steps as mentioned in instructions
Step 10 :
Your Appointment is booked for Teleconsultation and a confirmation SMS is also sent to the registered mobile number

Step 11 :
When the hospital confirms the appointment booked by the patient from ORS, the patient will receive an SMS on the registered mobile number with the video-conferencing link and the video-conferencing pin which will be required to join the teleconsultation session

On the day and time of the appointment confirmed by the hospital, the patient can join the
teleconsultation session using the link and pin mentioned in the confirmation SMS recived.
