Under the leadership of Government of India, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has launched an online registration service for patients seeking hospital services across India. This Online Registration System (ORS) links various hospitals across the country for Aadhar number based and mobile number based Online Appointment and Registration, where OPD registration and appointment system through Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) has been digitized. Even if an individual does not have an Aadhar number, registration can be done with the mobile number.
Those who have taken online appointment through ORS will report directly on the registration counter with the message they have received from ORS. Steps To Book an Online Appointment
Step 1: Visit the Site https://ors.gov.in/orsportal/
Step 2: Click on Book Appointment
Step 3: Select the State Jharkhand
Step 4: Click on Central Institute of Psychiatry CIP
Step 5: Then two options will be displayed on the Screen as “Appointment and Teleconsultation”. Click on ‘Appointment’
Step 6: Click on ‘New Appointment’ if you are visiting for the first time, Click on ‘Follow-up Appointment’ if you are a follow-up patient
Step 7: Select Department/Clinic in which you want to take consultation
Step 8: Select date for which you want to take appointment. After that you can register yourself using mobile number or ABHA number
Step 9: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and follow subsequent steps as mentioned in instructions
Step 10: Your Appointment is booked for Physical consultation and a confirmation SMS is also sent to the registered mobile number
Step 11: Your appointment will be confirmed when you show the massage received at the registration counter of the institute on the day of visit
